Headshot Tips
PLEASE be
exactly as yourself. This is very important when someone
check out your image they want to see you.
Important let the photographer know what kind of role you are
going for and what look you are trying to achieve.
Try different poses at home in front of a mirror. Try
different expressions and movements.
OK let be honest for a minute get a good nights sleep and don't
drink we need you at your best.
What about your character, what are you trying to achieve in
your image?
Who are you trying to become where is the character from?
This is a question that you should have some idea what role you
are going to go for, also try to match your wardrobe.

What to were in the shot
- Black is very good, avid white
unless you were it under something.
- Remember darker clothes attract less
attention and bring more attention to your face.
- Try to avoid busy patterns and large
stripes/lines.
- Suits or a jacket are great for men
as a secondary look.
- The clothes that you were should be
neat and if possible look new.
- Wear clothes that feel good and you
look great in.
- PLEASE don't overdress .
- Avoid jewelry that will distract
from your face.
- Keep your jewelry simple.
- For multiple roles and looks, bring
a variety of clothing that emphasizes different characters.
- Pay attention to details.
Layers, ties belts etc.
- Different necklines will change the
your shape of your face. Bring a variety to see what
works best.
- Turtlenecks are almost always a bad
idea.
